Saudi Arabia’s historic city of Thadiq

Founded in 1668, the city of Thadiq is known for its pivotal role in supporting King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud during the unification of the Kingdom. Thadiq is located 165 kilometers northwest of Riyadh, and bordered by the governorates of Al-Majmaah, Rumah, Huraymila, Shaqra. It is now part of North Riyadh UNESCO Global Geopark, a testament to its geological and cultural heritage.
